So, a relative of mine gave me this (http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-latitude-d505/specs/) a few days ago, due to her not being able to get into it because she forgot the admin password.
So I went ahead and completely reinstalled Windows XP Home edition, service pack 2. (NOTE: I HAVE NO OTHER ITEMS RELATED TO THIS COMPUTER)
And now, there's no "Connect to Wireless network" option, the screen's resolution and colors can't be changed, etc.
From what i've read, this is due to me not installing any drivers/updated drivers.
ALSO
In Device Manager, a few devices are not working, afaik.
These include:
"Ethernet Controller"
"Multimedia Audio Controller"
"Network Controller"
"PCI Modem"
"Video Controller"
"Video Controller (VGA Compatible)"
and it gives me code 28
So, does anyone know where I could get the drivers for this computer?

You're going to have to guess for the wireless adapter since there were ~10 different cards available for that model. If you had the PCI vendor ID then it would be easier to figure out which it is.
And for future reference, there are tools to crack passwords like Ophcrack:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ophcrack/files/ophcrack-livecd/3.6.0/
Or NT Offline Password Recovery:

thanks! i'll post here again if something is still missing/goes wrong

I'd upgrade the CPU and RAM in that thing to make it at least a bit more usable.

And 2 x 1 GB SODIMM of PC2700/3200 if you can find it cheap enough.

Go in the device properties in the device manager:
