I'm not illiterate, so I didn't have any questions as to what "doom beta" was referring to.
Isn't it B.J Blaskowicz in that Mobile "Wolfenstein RPG" that blows up CyberDemon's left arm and right leg, so he has to replace them with machinery?
I'd love if the protagonist was Stan Blascowicz.
Old door noise at the end was a nice touch.
At least we know the multiplayer beta shouldn't be far off. Of course by that I mean a few months.

The door also has a texture on it resembling the old doors in 1 and 2.

Thats just insulting. Its quite obviously what It was referring to.
shacknews is pretty garbonzo, especially with all the half-assed, 2 sentence articles they spammed so they could "announce" the things shown on the e3 panels.
