Estonia doesn't even have HD channels yet :v (well they have one but still it's not the main ones).

HD is detrimental to television
I always love to think about how awesome the CRT screens were back in the early 2000. Most of them technically had HD resolutions, since HD is defined above 1024×768. ([url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-definition_television]according to Wikipedia[/url])
I remember mine could go at an even higher resolution than my current ~ 120hz 3d LCD ~ screen.
