If you bought the Season Pass DLC you knew EXACTLY what you were purchasing: 4 DLC packs for the price of 3. That's all you bought. Quit complaining because you aren't entitled to future DLC packages.

So why was the Level Cap DLC given for free for owners of the season pass? It's not campaign dlc yet I and many others got it, what stopped Gearbox from giving Krieg for free for owners of the SP?

All I'm seeing here, is that they included the 11 level increase pack into the season pass between the 3rd and 4th DLC (of which the latter is not released yet)
So yeah, what's your point, that they added some unlisted shit in there? Now you might argue the legitimacy of having increased levels in a pack, which I won't decline, but as far as the Season Pass goes, it's fullfilled more than it was supposed to before the 4th DLC is even here.

Mainly cause it was a preorder item, even I thought it was a dick move to have it be a preorder bonus and then charge it for people who didn't pre-order the game.

I don't understand what you're getting at. Borderlands 2 and (most of) its DLCs were great fun, not to mention the fact that they were brand new characters and campaigns at reasonable prices. Even if you didn't enjoy them, they were more than just map and gun packs. Don't just jump on the DLC hate bandwagon, this is the kind of DLC we WANT to see, actual fun content outside the main story line that's worth the money, without leaving people with just the game feeling screwed.
I don't know about you, but when it's done right, I [I]love[/I] getting new content for my games after I've beaten them. Same way I'd buy the shit out of a "play as a rebel" DLC if valve ever released something like that.

Suit yourself. I may have misunderstood your post, I understand if you just didn't like it and felt like you waisted your money. It's just the people who are yelling "we should be getting all these new campaigns and characters for free! I ordered the season pass" almost like they were blindsided by the fact that it doesn't (and never did) last forever.
I have liked all of the DLC and am sure this will be good as well. Adding a new character is adding a whole new playthrough to the game without it seeming stale.
Anyone who thinks this is a good deal is about as crazy as Krieg himself.

I feel like you'd walk up to one of those tire places selling the "Buy 3 Get 1 Free!" advertisements, buy it, then drive back in the next day upset that they didn't give you a free spare.
To answer your question you could look back at the post you replied to. You bought 4 DLC packs for the price of 3. At NO point was it mentioned, hinted at, teased, whatever, that you would be getting future DLC for free. You did not pay for Krieg, so you do not get Krieg. Business 101.

Honestly the debate about whether or not the characters should be in season passes is redundant. I think they should be put in for free. They are already making money out of DLC's, why can't everyone get a free character every few months?
