The trailer alone is using the Lego Universe system and music. It looks... Questionable, but I'll still give it a shot. Better have a Ninjago character. Also, Lego Minifigures online? Couldn't come up with a better sounding name?
Given what happened with the last lego mmo I can't see this taking off. I really wish I could put all of the adventures I had as a kid into a lego environment. That's what they need to do. A Lego game that is essentially just a level editor/player, because that's what I think Lego is all about.
All of the minifigs I've seen so far are from the series packs.

Hell, you could make enemies spawn too. Or have objects be interactable, making them talk/move/spit out powerups. You could make that into a game alone if you put it on the LU engine. I could see it being like Disney Infinity. Without the gimmicky expensive as shit figures and pad.
I really look forward to this. Funcom is a good company, they know how to make games. The last MMO, didn't it fail mostly because of the expensive sub system. I remember reading their forums full of angry parents complaining about an already base price and then sub.
It did but I think there was a free to play option also, albeit with limited options.

I don't recall there even being a F2P option. Up until the last few months it was subscription-based, then when they announced it was shutting down everyone was allowed to play.
This is a much better developer. Funcom is behind stuff like Anarchy Online, Age of Conan and The Secret World. [editline]29th August 2013[/editline] Just watched the trailer. Jesus I'm actually excited about this game and I don't give a fuck about Legos.
