From who? it probably was all used up on expenses long before they could start to get positive cashflow from further sales, hence why they are now shutting down.
I'm always interested that people are surprised how often these concepts fail to launch, given that it costs *a lot* of money to bring something to market, way more than a few million in most cases. More than that, it takes know how and experience.

Nope. You invest money with no guarantee on returns, or results. If this upsets you, you should not be using crowd funding sites and tossing your money at it.
