• What the fuck is my dog doing?!

So I'm peacefully playing NHL on Xbox 360, so ripped. I decide to leave my room and go for some cookies and milk, I go to the stairs and see my dog sketching out, like he's following me everywhere, pacing back and forth like crazy, looking around everywhere like he's sketching the fuck out, and he's panting a lot which is weird. Offered him water, to go outside and he walked outside then walked back in. He currently just came running back up from downstairs and ran under my computer desk and his hiding behind my legs, he is now leaving as I type this.. What the fuck. He also keeps looking at the ground too like he sees something and he's following it with is eyes. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM?!
Ask the vet
Ask the vet
It's late here, none open that I know of, parents are in bed.. [editline]5th September 2013[/editline] Now I just hear him pacing downstairs, he stops for a brief moment then he goes again.
His dead dog wife is haunting him and following him around, and he hates that bitch!
You should look it up on the internet right now as we type. Maybe he ate something wierd that made him go all 'excited', or 'crazy'? I don't know.
He's predicting the end of the world. Or germany wants to invade poland, your dog feels it.
shrooms
My dog did this when she ate a bag of chocolate, it gets them really irritated and hyper and then sick, we had to go to the vet, I suggest you do too as chocolate can really fuck dogs up if you don't treat it.
Usually when my rotties do this they get sick shortly after. Watch out for signs of him wanting to throw up. I breed rots so I had to learn to tell somethings.
You were 'ripped' OP, may I ask what does that mean? But if my hunch is right, you took some drug and your dog may have taken it too. Dogs take 'being ripped' differently, so worry not.
I think he was talking about his game being ripped, not the dog.
Nor himself? Well then, I guess it's just another case of.. dumb dog.
It's not fucking your legs now is it? Because mine does
Bad weather maybe? My dogs always had a tendency to get antsy and do weird shit if it was going to storm
Sure he didn't eat some molly?
Bad weather maybe? My dogs always had a tendency to get antsy and do weird shit if it was going to storm
my dog went completely batshit if she heard thunder. She would jump on top of my mom, who was pretty much the same size as her, and cower like a puppy until it was over.
It's possible that he has a brain tumor, sometimes dogs will start pacing and getting really strange with a tumor, and they can start hallucinating, which explains how he was staring at the floor and following something with his eyes. I'd get him checked out ASAP. [editline] today [/editline] If he starts having seizures, you may as well just start preparing to bury him. I had to do that to my dog.
My cat had a stroke and they started panting rapidly, similar to your dog. But that's a cat, so It's probably nothing to do with this.
Could be so many things. He could have had a seizure, ate something bad, be suffering anxiety if he's normally around others and they're not home perhaps? It's a hard call, you need to speak with a vet ASAP. In the mean time, just try and stick with him and calm him down ok?
If by ripped you mean high, my dog gets really awkward when I'm high and just follows me everywhere.
If by ripped you mean high, my dog gets really awkward when I'm high and just follows me everywhere.
If by ripped he means high, he may need to concentrate for a bit and try to remember whether or not he actually has a dog in the first place.
Go to a vet. Dont be like " Ok well, it will go like it came " My previous dog suddently had the same symptoms ( looking, trying to catch invisible things, being scared with no reason, sticking you, trying to tell you something ) . The accident came, we brought him to the vet. It was a blood clot in the brain. He was saved but his brain got damaged and we had to teach him how to walk again ( he was like 8-9 ). He lived for another 4 years then. When you parents Wake up speak with them, imo he need to see a vet.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I gave him half a gravol last night (googled it first to see if it was okay) to calm him down and make him sleep because last time he did this it was a few months back and it literally kept me up all night long. But weirdly enough, I wake up today and he's still acting all strange. Me and my dog. He's my best buddy. Maybe he needs to go out and use the yard
