deleting windows.old

So i finally bothered to install full retail windows 7 on my laptop which was running windows 7 RC (build 7100) and windows.old is taking up a huge unessessary chunk of my HDD. But when i try to delete it, it either says something a long the lines of; You need administrative permission to perform this action (which i am an adminisrator) Try again, OR; SYSTEM is trying to delete this file, Try again. How do i correctly go about deleteing windows.old

This. If it doesn't work then you should go grab Unlocker and tell it to delete on boot.

Run Disk Cleanup. Select C. Click the button that says "Clean up [u]s[/u]ystem files". Select C. Tick "Previous Windows Installation(s)". Click Ok.

I just took ownership over it and deleted : /
