Hello facepunch, I have recently decided to buy a new computer since my old 2000 computer is really weighing me down in todays games. I've decided to buy a prebuilt since last time I tried to build a computer I got a handful of DOA's and I magically fucked shit up. v:ohdear:v So anyways I'm looking at this company called iBuyPower, My freind said you can design a computer how you'd like it, then they would build it and send it to you. The PC Im looking at is $1910 CAD with shipping, The specs are: Case ( PSI CycloneX Mid Tower Gaming Case - Black ) iBUYPOWER Labs - Noise Reduction ( None ) iBUYPOWER Labs - Internal Expansion ( None ) Case Lighting ( Cold Cathode Neon Light - Blue ) Processor ( Intel® Core™ i7 930 Processor (4x 2.8GHz/8MB L3 Cache) ) iBUYPOWER PowerDrive ( None ) Processor Cooling ( [Free Upgrade] Liquid CPU Cooling System w/ 120mm Radiator [SOCKET-1366] ) Memory ( 6 GB [2 GB X3] DDR3-1333 - Corsair XMS3 Dominator w/DHX technology ) Video Card ( ATI Radeon HD 5850 - 1GB - CrossFire Mode (Dual Cards) ) Video Card Brand ( Major Brand Powered by ATI or NVIDIA ) Motherboard ( ASUS P6T SE ) Motherboard Add-on ( None ) Power Supply ( 1000 Watt -- Extreme Power Supply - [Gaming Series] Quad SLI + Active PFC ) Primary Hard Drive ( 1 TB HARD DRIVE -- 16M Cache, 7200 RPM, 3.0Gb/s - Single Drive ) Data Hard Drive ( None ) Optical Drive ( 24X Dual Format/Double Layer DVD±R/±RW + CD-R/RW Drive - Black ) 2nd Optical Drive ( None ) Flash Media Reader/Writer ( None ) Meter Display ( None ) Sound Card ( 3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard ) Network Card ( Onboard LAN Network (Gb or 10/100) ) Netbook / Notebook Bundle ( None ) Operating System ( Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium + [Free 60-Day !!!] Microsoft Office 2007(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access ....) - 64-Bit ) Keyboard ( iBUYPOWER USB Keyboard - Black ) Mouse ( iBUYPOWER Internet Mouse - Black ) Monitor ( None ) 2nd Monitor ( None ) Speaker System ( None ) Power Protection ( None ) Headset ( None ) MP3/MP4 Player ( None ) Video Camera ( None ) Advanced Build Options ( iBUYPOWER Specialized Advanced Packaging System - Protect your investment during transportation! ) Advanced Build Options ( Tuniq TX-2 High Performance Thermal Compound - The best interface between your CPU and the heatsinks ) Advanced Build Options ( Professional wiring for all cables inside the system tower - Achieve exceptional airflow in your chassis ) Advanced Build Options ( Professional wiring for all cables inside the system tower - Basic Pro Wiring ) Warranty ( Standard Warranty Service - Standard 3-Year Limited Warranty + Lifetime Technical Support ) Rush Service ( Rush Service Fee (not shipping fee) - No Rush Service, Estimate Ship Out in 5~10 Business Days ) That comes with the $100 dollar shipping to canada, So FP,is this PC worth the money? And another question I got is, Which is better, A GTX 295, A HD5870 Or Dual HD5850's In CrossfireX Thanks.
If you're Canadian don't go with iBuyPower. Go with ncix.com, they have a computer configurator too.
Don't buy prebuilt. [editline]08:09PM[/editline] Oh god rate me bad reading.

[QUOTE=rampageturke;22107792][url]www.newegg.ca[/url][/QUOTE] Yeah, I know, I'm gonna waste money buying prebuilts but the oh so many times I screwed computers up has traumatized me.
If you are worried, we'll walk you through each step of the way. :buddy:
I wouldn't really say that's worth it. Even from a prebuilt stage.
Is it just for gaming or are you going to be doing rendering and things on it? Because if it's the former, then the i7 is a waste of money.
