• Computer shuts off every 4 hours

I've checked inside and everything is fine. There's some dust but it's not interfering with anything(I don't have any tools to clean the dust up without spending 2 hours wiping it off with my finger). My idle temp on both CPU and GPU is about 45 degrees Celsius. This started some weeks ago. I leave my computer on all day, and when I get back from school it'll shut down on me randomly(no bsod, just shuts down). I turn it back on and around 4 hours later it shuts off again. Now they're starting to become more frequent, like 2.5 hours instead. Here's the weird thing(and why I'm not sure why this is happening): My printer goes off as well. My printer, moniter, tower, and internet modem are all plugged into the same surge protector. My moniter and modem stays on whenever this happens, but my printer and tower completely shuts down. Sometimes the lamp across the room goes off too, but no where near as often. I'm not sure why it's affecting just these 2 objects, and not all 4. If it helps, I live in a kinda shady apartment. It seems to happen when the computer isn't idle. Running any application/game that uses a decent amount of CPU/GPU seems to cause it(The games I've tried playing are Sleeping Dogs, Rayman Origins, Torchlight 2, and League of Legends. Rayman Origins is the only game where this hasn't happened). The last major change I remember doing was installing the latest ATI drivers(12.8), but I'm not sure if the problem was in effect before installation.
it sounds to me like an electrical problem, get a voltage checker and see if your wall outlet has a constant 120 volts or w/e it's supposed to be.
