I'm asking for some advice on how to remove paper stickers from a plastic surface. I got some stickers on my Rock Band guitar that I want to get rid of. Any ideas? I already tried WD-40 and cooking oil. I'd like to try that Goo Gone stuff, but alas, I cannot get hold of it in Spain.

I'm using surgical spirit, lets see how that goes
a good old fashioned warm damp cloth has always worked for me

just saturate the paper and glue with the warm water and then you should be able to easily scrape it all off
