I stepped away from my PC for a couple of hours and I came back to find that my mouse now brings up the RMB menu every time I click the left as well. It's making everything very hard to do and I cannot for the life of me figure out why it's doing it and what triggered it. It's a Logitech G500, and doing a quick Google search brings back a couple of results, none of which have solutions. The only one that did, something about running sfc /scannow in the command prompt failed to find anything. Unplugging the mouse doesn't do anything and neither does resetting. I swapped out my mouse for my ageing MX518 and that's fixed the problem, BUT I changed mouse because that one was falling apart - sensitivty is stuck on the highest setting for example
I'm guessing some dust has gotten into the mouse or otherwise fucked with the circuits, but I'd reaaally rather not go out and buy a new one as my G500 is only 6 months old. Any ideas?
EDIT: I've tested the G500 on another computer and the problem appears on that too, so I'm guessing it needs cleaning
