Plenty of work on Star Citizen has been shown, though. Things not been finished yet doesn't mean they aren't working on them.

Yeah. But to be fair, SC is a much "larger" game, while Elite is basically just refining the tried-and-true space game format, with the more ambitious stuff (planetary landings and the like) following [I]after[/I] release.
