Windows explorer has been crashing constantly, it usually only happens when Windows Explorer is loading details of.avi videos. I have tried using sfc /scannow but it keeps denying me the privilege of using it, because apparantly my administrator account does not have sufficient privileges.

before clicking cmd in the start menu you need to right click it then click run as admin then you can run the command
Well, at least it's running the command now, will have to wait for it to complete.
