There's no other perks. You can't change titles, there's no alternate subforums, there isn't really anything special besides your name is in gold lettering. It's just a relic from the really old Facepunch days that is just tossed around now as a joke.
The only reason you can't even buy gold now is because [i]someone[/i] said that if you registered for Facepunch and bought Gold Member status you would get a free Rust alpha key. Needless to say Facepunch was flooded for months after with little kids who came for the key and then bitched, got banned, and decided the only form of fighting back was to DDos the site to the far fringe of the universe.
