Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in but my laptop Samsung RF711 has a Nvidia GT 540m with 1gb memory dedicated GFX card.
Now when i go to load skyrim i click options in the launcher and i cant change my graphics adapter it is just "Dell graphics adapter".
When I click the drop down menu to change it the only option is the "Dell graphics adapter and not my "Nvida 540M Dedicated GFX card".
Could anyone help me solve this problem ? Also skyrim won't play off my dedi card even if i choose to run it with my dedicated graphics processor.

Disable Nvidia* Optimus technology in the Nvidia control panel.

You may also want to make sure your drivers are up to date while you're at it
