I am wondering if they is any specific cases of tourists going to either Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan and being punished there (In a cruel manner) by local Sharia law. Any type of news article from a reliable source will be very helpful. This doesn't include cases where the really deserve it, like murder.
I've been looking for a while, and haven't been able to come up with anything (I guess I suck at searching).
Also, this is not aimed at attacking Islam, per say. It is more aimed against harsh fundamentalism and corruption.

This is for myself; I've been following many religious debates for a while. I've developed a hatred for theocracy in most forms, and I'm trying to create "list" of 'em through out time (not a real one, just a mental list), and why they don't work. I'm preparing myself for future arguments, and I can't seem to find anything... :(
