80mm fan doesn't fit :(

I bought an 80mm fan without measuring my case properly and it turns out that it fits a 92mm fan:

Uh, just screw it through four of those hundred holes instead of the four designated to hold it and it will still be fine? I just don't understand where the problem is. Improvise, you're a human, you should be capable to do so
