I bought an 80mm fan without measuring my case properly and it turns out that it fits a 92mm fan: Any way I can get the fan in there? I'm an idiot:crying:
Cut out 80mm
Your best chance is to just ask it on one of those pcmod boards.
cable ties
So what should I do? Cable ties or drill holes?
Cable ties work fine for what you're doing.
Is getting a new 92mm fan a option?
Is getting a new 92mm fan a option?
No, I just bought some cableties. Also, gtfo my avatar.
Is getting a new 92mm fan a option?
If you really want to you could, but I guess that depends on how deep your pockets are..
Uh, just screw it through four of those hundred holes instead of the four designated to hold it and it will still be fine? I just don't understand where the problem is. Improvise, you're a human, you should be capable to do so Or if you just can't damage the case with 4 tiny screws, hot glue it on there
Just fitted the fan, works perfectly. Got one question though: I can't seem to figure out how to get the controller into the bracket
Pull the knob out and then rejoin them?
The knob won't come off easily, I don't wanna break it.
The knob won't come off easily, I don't wanna break it.
Thats the only way to get it on.
So do I just pull it?
Well it's not like you have any more options
All done, thanks to everyone :buddy:
