• Cavity filled inbetween teeth, sharp pain when chewing

Alright, I'm 20 years old and haven't had a cavity since I was 14. Awesome. Except I forgot how this goes. It was done two days ago, and I'm sure yesterday I was hyped up on novocaine and ibuprofen after to notice it when I was eating but today if I eat anything like bread (when it gets compressed) or almost anything really if something puts pressure on it I get a very sharp pain there. Also, pressing on it with a fingernail will trigger the same response, although picking/scratching it doesn't hurt. It's direct downward pressure. It's a silver filling, it was deep although mostly due to it being in between my two molars. The molars don't hurt, it's simply the filling. There is no hot/cold sensitivity, and no real pain (except a slight "hey i'm still mad at you" pain which is very dull). I'm in the military so simply going back isn't real quick, I'd just like to see if I should jump right on contacting someone or if it will go away in a few days. Like I said I honestly forgot how this goes and would just like some quick responses to see if I need to worry since we've all been there.
It will hurt like hell for a few weeks, try not to put pressure on it until is fully solidified.
Mine's been hurting for months and the dentist still doesn't know how to fix it.
Only when you're chewing though?
Right, but it used to be much more sensitive to cold.
