HP laptop has effectively disabled the function keys

I own an HP Laptop (G62) that I play my games on. However, for some reason on the function keys (F1-F12) HP has put extra functions on each one of them. They didn't realize, however, that it rendered the actual function keys completely disabled and made it shit for gaming. Is there any way to return the function keys to what normal keyboards are like?

Check the BIOS, there's a option to set them to act normal in the BIOS on my HP DV7.
Still fully retarded that they set the function keys to be some shitty shortcuts as standard though.
