Assassin's Creed 2: Part 3.
Kind of is if you think of it. If they ever release graphically-enhanced remakes of these games in the far future, they'd probably be bundled as the AC2 Trilogy, with the first one being called "Renaissance", since that was the name of the novelisation of the original Assassin's Creed 2. Also, can't wait for the full trailer in June.
I can't believe they're making another fucking Ezio game
I want a new fucking Protagonist, I was bored as fuck of Ezio in Brotherhood already. Or just give us back Altair, although that'd probably be unrealistic. At least he was badass.

Even though I feel like having another game with Ezio is bullshit, I'll probably get it anyways.
Release date plz
I like Ezio :/
And about as charismatic as a rapist, no thank you very much.
At least he didn't let the main villain live because he was too much of a pussy to kill him and to enable a stupid story for a half-baked sequel. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] I don't hate Ezio, I just like Altair more. And he actually has a character arc and development, and it seems I failed to pick that up on Ezio.
I don't hate Ezio, I just like Altair more. And he actually has a character arc and development, unlike Ezio.
He does? All I remember about him is that he was a faceless guy who killed other people.
I keep loving how with each new release the franchise gets better. This one looks promising. I can't say I really like Ezio or Altair better. I only own AC: 1 and have only played AC: 2 and Brotherhood at my friend's house.
At least he didn't let the main villain live because he was too much of a pussy to kill him and to enable a stupid story for a half-baked sequel.
You do know AC likes to maintain a bit of historical accuracy, right? "Hey, let's kill this guy off in a completely different place at a completely different time and by a completely different guy!"
I don't hate Ezio, I just like Altair more. And he actually has a character arc and development, unlike Ezio.
You know, I'm not sure you're even qualified to talk about this sort of stuff if you honestly think that Ezio had no character development.
Hopefully this one doesn't sag so much in the middle.
I really hope that the brotherhood and revelations are/were just side projects while the main team works on the big epic finale also known as assassins creed 3.
I really hope that the brotherhood and revelations are/were just side projects while the main team works on the big epic finale also known as assassins creed 3.
They were necessary to provide more detail to both the historical events and to the modern events. Each part is a necessary step in the course of the game to reach the desired end result. If they need this many games to tell the story which has yet to see a decline is quality, then that is a good thing.
I must say, I got kinda tired of Ezio's story. Altaïr was just an assassin, and that's the way it was, no "ooh, I love this girl, maybe not, I am an italian playboy, nooo my family". Sigh.
I hope that they make the plot less predictable.
I can't believe they're making another fucking Ezio game
If they don't add in some Desmond as an assassin action I'm going to be so disapointed.
I only recently got AC2, as i didn't really play much AC1 so thought i wouldn't like it. I haven't completed it yet but from what i can see in that Video Ezio feels like a completely different character (not sure if he changes at some point during AC2/Brotherhood) Looks awesome.
Well one thing is for certain, each subsequent game has been better than the last. As long as that keeps going then I have no real problem. Yeah I've gotten a bit tired of the setting and character, but the improvements keep it fresh. And Ezio is a damn good character. His character actually learns and has emotions and shit. Hard to come by a character I actually care for in modern games.
I hope there won't be more of those annoying-as-fuck missions where you have to follow somebody. Stealth missions were quite fun thanks to the new equipment Ezio got (even though the AI with it's 3m sight made it a bit too easy) but the pursuit missions (which's number heavily increased in Brotherhood) were boring IMO.
You do know AC likes to maintain a bit of historical accuracy, right? You know, I'm not sure you're even qualified to talk about this sort of stuff if you honestly think that Ezio had no character development.
I know they try to do with their historical accuracy, but when the premise of the whole thing is as ridiculous as it is I don't really care too much when someone died. And I'm looking at this from an unnecessary-sequel standpoint. If they had not even killed the dude, but just put the story bits of Brotherhood into AC2, and let me use the crossbow and all, it would've been a better game, Brotherhood wouldn't have existed, and Multiplayer with lots of gamemodes would still be exciting now because it wouldn't have been done before. Because as it stands now, Brotherhood was basically AC2 in Rome with a lot of additional plot that could've been 5 GB and 10 hours more of AC2. Also, seeing how they had to fill Brotherhood up with gimmicks like Leonardo's missions and the whole economy system just to keep the playtime above 20 hours so you don't feel like its an addon,( which it still feels like,) they really should've made Brotherhood an AC2 DLC or end Ezio's story. And with the character development, okay, maybe I missed some of it on Ezio, but really, he still appears like a very macho-esque character who seeks revenge because a family member died. Granted, he has a beard now and he isn't as spontaneous as in the 5 hour-long intro-youth-of-Ezio sequence from AC2, but apart from that, I just don't pick it up. Maybe AC1 was too blunt to the face with Altairs Arc, but I could see it, I could grasp it, I didn't have to think about the game afterwards to figure how much the character progressed. But it doesn't fucking matter since I'm apparently not qualified to have an opinion on character development in video games. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] Maybe I just like Altair so much because he reminds me of Garret from the thief games.
I want the song. It's a remix of 'The Day The Whole World Went Away' by Nine Inch Nails, but I don't know the remix artist.
I imagined the next Assassins Creed game being based in 1700's England/France... Boy was I wrong.
I imagined the next Assassins Creed game being based in 1700's England/France... Boy was I wrong.
The next Assassin's Creed is going to be during the French Revolution. Revelations is part of the Assassin's Creed 2 line.
The next Assassin's Creed is going to be during the French Revolution.
Where's your source.
Where's your source.
Did you ever finish playing Brotherhood? Only place the Phrygian Cap and Eye of Providence appear together, as Shaun begins to say. The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen, Ubisoft had also expressed interest in having one of the games take place during either the French or American revolutions. And there is the addition of the Mont Saint-Michel map to multiplayer (Normandy, France) and the rather prominent French appearance in Brotherhood.
While I enjoyed AC1 and 2, they always left me wanting more of the modern events with Desmond.
Assassin's Creed 2: Part 3.
Being released before Half-life 2: Episode 3. Shocker.
