It's a fruit beacuse of the way it grows and "works".
Then again, in culinary context, it is a vegetable.
Therefore it's both.
It doesn't TASTE like a fruit, in fact it doesn't even taste like ANYTHING.

Better known as the produce section. The bananas are as far away from you're fruit note as the tomatoes.
