• Is this Youtube converter legal?

Okay, About two years ago, a friend on a different forum showed me Media Converter. Basically, it's a Youtube downloader, and a very reliable one at that. But recently, other people I know have been questioning the legality of this site. Do any of you know if it's legal or not? The link is www.mediaconverter.org.
I guess the tool itself is legal but could be used to bump copyrighted music which is illegal.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I heard YouTube had some problems with it as well.
Where do you live?
Somewhere in Portland, Maine. How is that relevant? EDIT: I use the converter primarily to get game soundtracks from games like FEAR (which I own) that I can't extract myself.

As long as you're not ripping something that inflicts any copyrights you're good.

I'm not sure what the industries stance is with game soundtracks as many games have their soundtracks available to buy.
