I need my password removed. i installed vista, and a password was on it upon finishing.
I heard there was a way to do it through BIOS, is that true?
Did anyone else have this problem?

Download, burn to CD using ImgBurn, pop it in the drive and reboot. You'll have your password in no time.

I just kind of skimmed through it without paying attention

try "admin"
He said ophcrack worked.
Login as administrator in safe mode, and delete the password.
run>cmd
net user insertyourusernamehere *
I know that your problem is fixed but I thought I post this anyway.

Only works if you can get past the welcome screen without knowing the password.
Boot into Safe Mode -> Login is Administrator -> net user insertyourusernamehere *
or if you're cool, kon-boot and then net user
Better Yet, boot into BartPE and use a program called "LockSmith" to reset all/any User Account passwords to blank. Then reboot and login.
