But can we change fov?
It's a treyarch game, ofc you can change fov.
Black Ops 1 had the option in both SP and MP to change it from 65 to 90 using a scale Hence why I respect treyach more than IW
i really like treyarch they are FAR more better than infinity ward, this time actual effort is put in to do someting different
Oh my god, Treyach dropped XP Good, XP is really old it's time for everyone to upgrade
Might actually get this, always enjoy Treyarch.
"The DX11 API is leaner than DX9 and requires less CPU time to do the same amount of work," Treyarch says
Why doesn't every developer realize this? Even Valve doesn't use Dx11 yet...
So if its dx11 then its not a console port?
IIRC Treyach have a department totally dedicated to PC porting, IW doesn't.
Holy crap, I might actually get this. I've not intentionally spent money on a CoD title since CoD2.
Why doesn't every developer realize this? Even Valve doesn't use Dx11 yet...
Because leaving behind XP loses a good chunk of sales. People need to upgrade.
I was already going to buy this because it looked like a new direction and very interesting. Now I'm definitely getting this, bravo Treyarch. Let's just see if it lives up to this.
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB
BS
Oh my god, Treyach dropped XP Good, XP is really old it's time for everyone to upgrade
I glanced at that and thought you meant Experience Points in multiplayer. Now THAT would be interesting.
I glanced at that and thought you meant Experience Points in multiplayer. Now THAT would be interesting.
Why would they do that? Who would want to play a shooter where you didn't grind XP levels to get guns you liked? Sounds ridiculous to me.
Hopefully this means it won't be a stuttering piece of shit like release Black Ops was
So if its dx11 then its not a console port?
Well, no. Throwing in some Dx11 shaders does not guarantee a not console port, but it does show they are giving it some attention.
Why doesn't every developer realize this? The API is simplified yes, but I don't see how that translates to noticeable performance gains unless they were doing DX9 terribly wrong.
TF2?
Most games ever made?

Tom's Hardware did a benchmark to see if Dx11 is faster than Dx9 using WoW (which in Dx11 does not add any extra effects, the shaders and codebase are simply based on Dx11): http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/world-of-warcraft-cataclysm-directx-11-performance,2793-7.html You'll see that the Dx11 codebase is much faster.
The PC edition packs "enhanced lighting, shadows, antialiasing, bloom, depth of field, ambient occlusion, and other enhanced effects that are still in the works,"
Please include some form of SSAA, I'll even take OGSSAA.

I might get this, it certainly deviates from a modern setting.
That's actually pretty cool. Black Ops II looks incredibly silly to me, but Treyarch has made generally the best CoDs except for the first 2.
Graphics upgrade Call Of Duty Does not compute
I hope they're gonna make use of occlusion culling seen as they've switched to DX11. I probably won't get this unless it looks super polished, even though the SP will probably be decent like all Treyarch CoD titles.
If it has zombies and bots, I'll get it I couldn't be arsed with the CoD online community on PS3 so I just played against the bots and unlocked everything then my PS3 broke...
