Apparently my windows live is and isn't installed a the same time. When I download the installer, it tells me I already have it. But Its nowhere to be found on my computer. Short of trashing the OS, can anyone tell me how to fix this? :c
Run CCleaner's registry cleaner, their might be some regkey causing that.

Yup, tried that :\. Just cleaned junk up and nothing happened.
There aren't any folders, programs, or anything referencing windows live left, but at the same time I cant install it either. The only way I can think to fix it is to reformat and reinstall win7, but thats a major pain just for default msn.
Search Live in the registry, check the Programs in the control panel and see if it left something over.

This. try your best to start from 100% blank. also check %appdata% for anything with live messenger.

No results, or none related anyway. And only a few programs win7 came with that you can't uninstall. :(
