now i have a habit of refresh the desktop with f5 alot. but suddenly 2 days ago. everytime i refresh it, it takes like 3 seconds for the icons to show up again. what the hell man
using windows 7 64 bit
remove some of your icons..? its completely normal
Check if any of the shortcuts are broken. Often, this will cause windows to try to update the shortcut/icon and when it can't after n seconds, it moves along (but this delay would be as long as you claim)
