• Resetting the resolution on my graphics card.

I put a radeon X700 into my computer, and just to fun around I put the resolution to 1900x1440(or something).* *Do not use this as a reason to flame/troll. Now the problem is, my monitor shuts off with an, "Out of Range," error. I have tried: -Rebooting (DURR) -Loading Windows with a different card (Visiontek 9550), resetting the resolution. -Safe mode. Same OUT OF RANGE error (THERE IS NO F8 SAFE MODE.) Also, I have no drivers for the card installed. What else should I do?
Windows CD -> Repair or Reformat. If not, try the bios. I don't really know what the bios is capable of since I don't use it that much.
Try taking the graphics card out, plugging the monitor into the onboard graphics and uninstalling the graphics card drivers. Then plug the graphics card back in and re-install the drivers.

Safe mode is SUPPOSED to default launch to 600x800, I think. But the radeon has no drivers installed on that HDD, so that may be the problem.

If the computer isn't even coming up in safe mode, there's something else besides bad drivers going on, like a fried card or motherboard.
