I've heard over the past half year, that Guild Wars 2 is simply brilliant. It is apparently a awesome game, and very worth playing. Also, it is somewhat a WoW killer as far as i have heard.
But now, with Summer Vacation coming up, i have a lot of free time on my hands. So, is Guild Wars 2 still the brilliant game that it was half a year ago. Or has it begun to slowly die out?
I'm mainly asking this, because i'm wondering if its worth buying.
I bought it on release and was disappointed by the extremely repetitive endgame which consisted of running the same few dungeons over and over again to get ridiculous amounts of points for endgame gear which differed from other endgame gear only cosmetically, even though it was the same in GW1, it still feels dull.
I didn't play for a very long time though, and don't know how patches and stuff have affected it, so maybe someone who's still playing it could tell you that.
The leveling was pretty fun though, even though the tasks you had to do were usually pretty similar with minor differences.
If you have friends who'll play with you, it's an [I]amazing[/I] experience.
I like gw2 very much the WvWvW is amazing and sPvP too. The dungeons are fun if you have friends, and the leveling is a fun experience also. I'd say that it is worth of buying.
