So I'm looking at this combo deal, and it looks really nice. Only 2GB of RAM, but that's what I usually run. The video card has twice the memory of my 9600GT and the processor would annihilate my 9550, why's this combo only $300?
My current computer:
AMD Phenom 9550
nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB
2GB DDR2 1066 RAM
And all that other good stuff. Would that kit build a better rig for gaming? I've been looking for a home gaming computer, and I'd love to move my old one here.
Just get a phenom II x4 and a 5770 or a 5750. Much better than that combo.
It's the same quality as your current computer.
The video card is only slightly better, the CPU is about the same, and the RAM is worse.
