• Internet is flipping out, unbearable lag. Desperate for a fix.

About two weeks ago, this wasn't an issue. Everything was smooth, all my games played fine. It started in CS:S when I was getting massive freeze ups followed by large jumps. TF2 started to spike every 5-7 seconds, and now most of my online games are lagging constantly, with the exception of WoW. I need some help, I can't bare this any longer. There's only two people on the router, me and my brother. We're on Shaw Communications (extreme) which is suppose to give us a 15mbs-25mbs connection speed. Here's some more info I'm on Vista, Service pack 2 or 3 I think, Modem goes to a router, Linksys Cisco On cables, wireless is disabled I think. There's two modems in my home, one's Shaw and other is Telus. Me and my brother are on Shaw, three other people are on the Telus modem. Shaw was fine for over 7 months, and only in the last two weeks has it started to shit out. FP, please help me.
There's service pack 3? Anyways, call your ISP I guess.

If you're torrenting at all, lower the max uploading to a small number, say 25 or 50. A lot of other app's upload as well, like Blizzard's downloader, and Waula. Also, be sure your wireless is off, it seems you're in a big city (Seattle) and a lot of people aren't above stealing your internet for their own use. You should be able to access your routers page at something like 192.168.1.1 / 192.168.1.0, etc. If you do need to keep it on, enable encryption.
