I have a old-ass Dell Pentium 4, that runs at 1.8gh and has like 640mb of ram.
I was wondering what I could do with it? Yesterday I installed Linux on it because I wanted to turn it into a shitty MAME arcade, but I honestly don't think I could go through every single thing, wiring everything and soldering and all that junk.
I've had ideas for server, but why would I really need it?
I've had ideas for music, but I have speakers hooked up to my TV with an audio input where I plug in my iPhone in my room.
I've had ideas for networking but... why, lol.
Also I actually want to keep it, not recycle it.
So what should I do with it?
File server.
I already have 500GB left on my external hard drive, man.
Make another Facepunch porn server.
Mail it to me.
Ya'll niggas posting in a troll thread.
No seriously what else can I do.
Webserver, I'll give you 50 bucks for it.
He almost got the wording exactly right.
18. Please no more 'Rate my PC', 'What can i do with this old PC?' or 'Will my PC run X' Threads. They spam up the place and you should already know how good your pc is.
but I would suggest buying some controllers and using it as a PS1/N64 emulator.
