So I recently bought my first big PC upgrade for 400 euros total consisting of crappy celeron cpu to 4670k, 2gb ddr2 to 8gb ddr3 and a new motherboard to support it all.
I was really satisfied with the results because before the upgrade I always had to live with sub-30 fps and the difference was amazing.
However, now I want more. I want to upgrade the radeon hd 5670 I got a few years back for 80 euros, and I thought graphics cards would be around that price level.
Sadly, I was wrong. It seems like good GPUs can cost about 300 euros nowadays.
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB DDR3 @ 800 MHz
Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 Gaming
Graphics: 1024MB AMD Radeon HD 5670 (Sapphire)
I am 17 years old and earning about 220 euros tax-free a month, and don't really have anything else to spend it on so the price doesn't really matter as long as it isn't too extreme for my income.
Can anyone suggest me a good GPU for my money that will make my games even smoother? I run at about 40-50 fps now on some games.
I'm sure a 750ti or 760 would treat you well.

The GTX 760 and R9 280 are at the same level, and should be very good for full HD gaming. The GTX 770 and R9 280X are significantly better at a slightly larger pricepoint, and would be perfect for his current processor. It's really just about how much money the OP is willing to spend, and which card at those tiers is the cheapest. The 750Ti is kindof silly when he should be able to get the better R7 265 or 270 for the same price
Which country do you live in, OP? Flagdog doesn't work for the first post

The Netherlands
It seems your choices are between a 760 and a 280X, the first one selling for around 210-220€ and the second selling for 250€. The 280X is a significantly better card, but it really depends on which site you're going to use
Thanks, I'm going to do some price vs performance comparing between the two to find out the best to buy.
