• PC for my brother - Hardware Reccomendations
    2 replies, posted
So my brother is looking to build a gaming PC. The main games he plays are Tf2, Civilization and WoW (I'm impressed that he can play with his 8fps atm). He'll need a new OS, mouse (assuming it doesn't come at the cost of significant power, preferably a Razer Naga), keyboard and headset, speakers are optional if affordable but again, not if at the cost of performance. He has around £600 to spend, but he doesn't need to buy a screen because I'm giving him my old 1650x1050 monitor. I also have an old Radeon HD 48xx (70, I think) if that would improve specs, but I was wondering if there were any recommendations for the sort of hardware he would want to get. Any other information I've missed I'll be happy to fill in. Summary Country: UK Budget: £600 Already got: Screen 1650x1050, Radeon HD 4870(?) Extras he would like: Optical drive, Mouse -Naga if possible, keyboard, headset. Needs an OS (Windows 7 or 8)

Thank you very much. I managed to find something both affordable and with decent specs for him. Thanks again :D
