How long has this game been in development for, shit.
Well now I know that I need to buy a WiiU by October.
I honestly thought this came out already.
Fuck yeah, finally a reason to own a WiiU. The fact that the game comes bundled with the first one is great since that no longer limits proper enjoyment of it to the 360.

But Wonderful 101 has been out since last September.
October is looking to be a very nice month indeed.
I want to buy this game due to all the hype, but I've tried watching gameplay videos of this and the first one and I still have no fucking idea what it's about or what sort of game it is
I guess it's a good thing to be able to go into a game, not knowing exactly what to expect though.

How the hell do you not know what the game is or what it's about after watching videos? Maybe you should wiki it if gameplay is somehow too vague.
Is Wonderful 101 really that good?

It's love-it-or-hate-it. Doesn't do a very good job of explaining its mechanics for many people, and it's another Platinum game where essential abilities you need to survive properly have to be bought from a shop right after the first level - something that pretty much anyone shouldn't have an issue with yet way too many folks gun right past and end up screwing themselves over on anyway. The rest of it comes down to majorly differing opinions on quality and fairness.
This comes out on my birthday.
Yesss.

There have been plenty of high quality Wii U titles out already, unless you're talking about your own, personal reason.
October suppose to be the month of the fall, and the month of horror... not this month horror is the emptiness of you wallet.

It's a spectacle fighter, like Devil May Cry or God of War, I think any gameplay video would make that pretty clear.

Never played anything like that so I think that's where it loses me. I saw what was apparently gameplay and thought it was a cinematic and then I'm just like 'Ok I think I'm gonna buy this'

I'm sure there have been quality titles, it's just that the only games I found interesting were Monster Hunter 3 and Wind Waker, games I already own for other consoles.
Wonderful 101 looks pretty interesting but I can't help but feel that one would get eye strain from looking at it for too long. Probably not the case though.
