"Access is Denied" Message when i try to edit any games config files.

Hey! I am trying to edit my Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield config and when I close the notepad file it will ask me to save, I click it and it brings up the save as screen then I will save it and it will say "Access is denied" :S
Its not the game because my friend could edit his perfectly with no problem.
(this happens with every game)

Edit them on an admin account.

And make sure they're also not read only.

Or the game specifically is running.

Or just like copy/paste a file with a copied name and press yes.
