• How do I open .CTX file?
    7 replies, posted
I want to edit some TF2007 files to see what the hell I can do, maybe make some mutant creation. Looked up some tutorials, could not find a single one. Well I did, but they are outdated. Are there some current methods of opening the files?
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/CtxConverter
It doesn't really work. I tried decompiling the .CTX file. The application decompiles the file, but the TXT. file does not show up.
-snip-
I'm dumb, http://invalidvertex.com/upl/CTXHackTF2.zip I forgot to include vice.exe Should be included in the zip now, redownload and stick in the same folder as the .ctx files.

Thank you so much, been trying to figure this out for 2 days.
Just to note, the CTX decompiler I linked if there are any spaces in your path name
