• Windows 7 WiFi Limited Connectivity

Alright, I've been running Windows 7 on my netbook (MSI Wind/Advent 4211) since the RC. I'm now running on the RTM (32bit) and have all of the Realtek drivers installed, etc. It's ran fine apart from 1 issue I've had. My wirelss connection goes into a 'Limited Connectivity' every once in a while. The time interval doesn't seem to be consistent however. During that time I can't access the internet. I can access computers on the LAN, etc. It's incredibly easy to get the internet back on again, I just open up the wireless connections list and hit refresh. That fixes it, but it will happen again after about 15-20 minutes. I've got my wireless card set to Maximum Performance on both battery and AC but it still happens. It happens on the drivers that Windows 7 downloads too. I'm using the Realtek Vista drivers currently as they provide a slightly better signal and faster transfers. It's most likely not my router as it also happens when I'm at college too. Anybody had anything similar to this in either 7 or Vista before? How did you fix it, Is it my wireless card?
It seems like I keep fighting Windows 7 with networking as well, it was so simple in XP, but Vista and 7 have horrible "Automatic" networking. Even plugging a PC into my router via ethernet with a fresh install of 7 can be a headache before the yellow triangle of death moves out of my way. I hope M$ fixes this.
I think I've fixed it! It's been streaming NASA TV from spacevidcast.com for 20 minutes now with no drops or buffering at all. I'll let it stream for another 20-30 minutes before posting how to fix it, just in case it hasn't actually fixed it. [editline]09:50PM[/editline] Nope, Didn't work out at all. Same problem as OP.
I can say that when I put 7 on my Eee 901 (which I assume has the same basic hardware, though I know that wireless cards do change between them) it was always fine. What about the virtual network adaptor thing? Is that running?
This happens to me too. Dunno why.
