I psoted a thread earlier about dual booting.
I think my best option is using to user accounts, problem is, I don't know hot to properly manage accounts.
What I want is an accounts for creative work which doesnt have access to the internet and has maximum performance.
I also want an account for Gaming/General Use which of course would have access to the internet.
Seen as all my software is already installed, it is all useable on both accounts.
Is there any way to what is listed above and also manage the programs available on each account without reinstalling everything?
Programs are by default installed for all users, but when installing you can choose for just the current user. As for the internet, you should check out the parental controls, I imagine you can lock out the internet from there
You could add a password to the wireless router and save it on the "Internet" account and not enter it on the non internet account meaning that it quite simply won't work on there.
That is of course assuming you use a wireless router.
My pc is connected to it via Ethernet. I do however plan in investing in a USB wifi dongle.
