Unless you want to use your headphones, then you'll have to buy Bluetooth ones or a dongle.
I got a Pixel 8 months ago and I'm pretty happy with it, so if this is a direct upgrade I imagine it's very good

If i was able to buy it
Ew. I'm upgrading to one of these at the end of this week from a Galaxy Note Edge. Honestly I don't even know the last time I used the headphone jack and everything I connect it to has bluetooth so it's sort of a non-issue for me, but I can totally see why it would be for people. Especially with my old Grand Am that didn't even have an aux port and I had to do all sorts of goofy shit to play music in it.
Unless you want to use your headphones, then you'll have to buy Bluetooth ones or a dongle.
A dongle comes with the phone
A dongle comes with the phone
Which is probably weaker than my earbuds' kevlar-strenthened plastic-coated cord, so say hello to buying a new one every 6 months, or every month if you're one of those hyper active teenagers with broken smartphone screens
No reason to buy this other than if you're really into the Google Assistant or really want the latest Android / Stock Android. LG V30 or Samsung S8 / Note 8 offer similar specs with more features.

On the S6 Edge, don't want any of the new crap Samsung stuff that has come out, don't want an iPhone, mate has a Pixel 1, I want to switch to a Pixel 2. Simple. I'm still switching even with finding out no headphone jack, I was going to either way.

Also, personally I am very happy with a S7, would not switch to any similar phone in its price range
