Title.
Whenever I download a file that is >100 MB it WILL get stuck at 99% thanks to NOD32 being fucking retarded.
I've tried downloading using IE, Chrome and custom download managers but NOTHING is working.
Not only that but NOD32 also starts taking up 100% of the CPU load, FANTASTIC!
Anyone know how to fix it without using torrents for everything?
Thanks.
Don't use NOD32?

yeah and as a result of that get a fuckload of viruses
great advice :downs:
I've tried disabling it and that didn't change anything.
I'm using the business edition of Nod32 for years now, No problems with downloading..
For the 100% CPU load -> Turn off real time file scanning
If you cant find it:
Turn advanced mode on
Go to settings
Click view full structure of settings (Mine's dutch so i dont know what it is in the english version)
Click real time file checking
Uncheck enable realtime checking
If you don't want to completely disable that, You can just disable everything except check on open.
It's checking the file for viruses at that point. I get this too, but eventually after a short while it will complete the download.

There's plenty of other working AV's out there, and I expect you could get a refund from ESET if you cancel your subscription early..

Free: MSE (Or Avast if you don't like MSE for any reason)
Paid: NOD32 (or Kaspersky if you dont like NOD32 for any reason)
I copy paste that a bit, so go Kaspersky because you don't like Nod32

Believe it or not, I've had bad experience with all listed AVs.
Ouch. Unlucky.
Have you tried Comodo?.. I haven't personally, but I hear good things about it.
I'm using Eset, it works fine for me. Anyway, how do you know it's Nod32 that's slowing down your downloads?
