1,99€ for Guerilla? That's a steal.
1,99€ for Guerilla? That's a steal.
When I got Metro 2033 I remember having a little coupon with it that let me get the game for that much, never actually used it. I still regret it.
Get Guerrilla, Armageddon is passable.
I thought Armageddon was lot of fun. Although it needs FOV fix first.
Guerrilla is literally a million times better than Armageddon and the only way you can think otherwise is if you haven't played Guerrilla.
Armageddon is only worth 4 bucks. I got it from gamefly in mail last year, was bored within 20 minutes.
i liked armageddon, could have been a lot better if it wasnt linear and was open world like guerilla, but i still feel it was worth the price/time of it when i bought the whole series in a bundle a while back
Armageddon was such a dumb game. All the weapons were designed to smash up buildings and throw shit around and all the levels were in linear tunnels with mostly unbreakable walls. I've said before that a Red Faction game with Guerilla's open world design and Armageddon's weapons would be amazing.
Guerilla is a super satisfying game. I loved having shoot outs in those apartment like buildings and watching chunks of the buildings fall apart. I also loved hammering through a wall to kill a dude on the other side.
Kill your brother.
guerilla would have been better too if there was a "reset all the buildings in the world" button, it sucks shit having destroyed the coolest, biggest things and theyre permanently gone i know theres a mod that adds in a weapon from MP that lets you reconstruct things, but that takes time and its difficult to reconstruct the bigger structures
And ideal world would be Armageddon's weapons in the guerilla world
Aside from Guerilla I recommend the original Red Faction, it's brilliant.
Armageddon was one of the few games that I just straight up couldn't finish, which is funny because the campaign is supposed to be 5 or 6 hours long. Everything else is great.
If I'm mainly planning to play multiplayer with friends, should I get Guerilla or Armageddon?
Guerrilla has more open multiplayer, so if you want to just dick around and dissolve bridges out from under each others' feet then go for Guerrilla. If you want horde mode then get Armageddon. Honestly if you have the cash I'd say get both, they're both really good games but Guerrilla is a better Red Faction game.
Y'all shut up and get both, they are equally fun/good (plus the old duo).
