"Happy Holidays" is a poor excuse to avoid offending people. I know a bunch of people who have been offended by the replacement of Merry Christmas. I much prefer it to Happy Holidays.
I don't think Christmas is really that related to Christianity. I mean, my family is atheist, yet we celebrate Christmas, just not the jesus side of it, and I know plenty of other people that aren't christian who also celebrate christmas, so I don't really mind.
