would anyone happen to know where to get the most recent version of nubuntu? i've been on google for almost 3 hours, and all i've found is nubuntu 6.10. if anyone knows where to get nubuntu please tell me!

According to their Wiki, their latest version was an alpha in 2008, and their forums are currrently down. Doesn't look like they're having any more development.

I'd be cautious considering it doesn't seem to be updated anymore. You might just want to configure Ubuntu server edition or another distro of your choice to your needs.

i have, and idk it's not the same... im looking for ubuntu penetration/security distro's and nubuntu is the only one i could think of.

The words in bold sound like your best bet. find out the list of packages used in the distro, usually listed on distrowatch, and compile your own Ubuntu CD/DVD with Remastersys.
