Does this mean I can only download the dutch version of it? or is it possible that I can use the serial with an english windows xp?

bah, it's a real pain in the ass to find a dutch home edition. Best part is I wont even use it. I only need it to update to windows 7.

you can however get the english language pack but setting up XP and installing the language pack all in dutch should be...interesting.
also, last i heard, you can't upgrade to 7 from XP. but that [I]was[/I] almost half a year ago, i suppose.
Found 2 downloads one of SP2 and one of SP3, ill see which one it is. @M_B I checked google for the compatibility of xp to windows 7 and it can be done, it will be a clean install though. Doesn't really matter for me ill just put some stuff on a different computer and put it back on when i have windows 7 installed.

I think you can't use language packs on standard XP (there may be special versions you can use them with).
And even if you own Windows XP, you're not entitled to download it (unless your license gives you permission, that is, and that's unlikely unless you own XP through TechNet etc.)
I honestly don't know about XP, but if you have Vista professional, you can download language packs... though not everything will be changed, this does include English language packs.
