Alright so most people know about the Steam Calculator, but I just noticed something a little more hidden and useful.
Steam registers all your purchases, naturally, and they have a list of all the games and when you bought them, available at https://store.steampowered.com/account/ (after you log in.) Under your name, off to the side it says "STORE TRANSACTIONS."
This shows what you paid for the games when you bought them, as opposed to Steam Calculator's set prices. Compare the two, and find your total savings! I have this handy dandy pic..

As you can see, I have saved $115.51! (Not including the gifts.) That's about 60%!
So Facepunch, how thrifty are you?
doesnt work for me

???
Can't see the Steam calculator prices because it only counts 25 out of my 106 games. The Steam account thing doesn't work either.
The calculator doesn't work for me.
Uhh.. Weird.
There was a thread solely on the calculator before, and it had plenty of people with buttloads of games. Not sure why it's not working

That's what I get, just put in my steam and community ID instead of yours.

your steam link doesn't work.

So I looked at my calculator, and it says $1023.31 and that scared me because that's way to fucking much money to be spending on video games.
So I added up all my actual transactions and it all cost $370.30, which is a much better number.
That means I saved motherfucking $653.01. Holy shit, that's amazing.
http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/piepiepiepie
Mother fucker. How much did it actually cost with sales and such?
I've saved about £1500
That's what I get, just put in my steam and community ID instead of yours.
That's because both of you didn't set up your ID correctly.
It has to be /id/name, not /profile/1251612394213412
I didn't pay anything for my games anyhow.
Woah, it's way off because all my purchases were either on sale or in packs. Also, I'm not NEAR loaded enough to have spent this much.

Also, what?

Read the OP, you're supposed to go into your account and look at your transactions and compare how much you actually spend to what the games are actually worth.
Calculator says $1549.92 but I have only $46.81 spent
Apparently I "saved" $140.49
Calculator says $1268.46, http://www.steamcalculator.com/id/HOOLA_EXPRESS
Spent around $320 including games like Fallout New Vegas and Humble Bundle which I activated on Steam
saved almost $1000 :D
$1,465
:smug:
nothing i do seems to make it work what the fuck.

The higher the number isnt a good thing. It means you spend too much on video games.

Go into your steam profile options, there should be a link somewhere that says "www.steamcommunity.com/id/[fill-in-the-box]"
Make one up using your name or such. Then use that link in the steam calculator.

90% of the games i own were marked down to around $2, does this make me a loser?
