I really wish they would redo the way parties work. I want me and my friends to all fill different roles on the same ship, not have our own lieutenants and etc.

How would that work anyways? What would those people do?
Yes, now I get a place to stay. I've been playing this game for a while and I'm trying to outfit my ship and captain with the best equipment how that I've hit lvl 50.
This makes me want to play it again. I unboxed a Cardassian Cruiser during that lock box thingy and I kinda hated the fact that I wasn't a high enough level to use it. To bad its weak as shit compared to other ships at that level :v:

Each player was in control of every critical system.

Requiring real people to man stations would be a scheduling nightmare.

Engineering had their own 4-6 man staff there they kept the ship 100%. Damage control teams, defense teams, and medical officers do there thing. And that was pretty much it from what I remember. Sounds like a nightmare. I like the way it is now.
I might try this out, it's free to play right? or free trial?
Sounds like a nightmare. I like the way it is now.
The whole system actually worked very. I wish I recorded gameplay.
The whole system actually worked very. I wish I recorded gameplay.
And it could always be optional, a sort of "hardcore" mode
And it could always be optional, a sort of "hardcore" mode
The way STO is now, that whole system wouldn't work.
Does FP have an active fleet?
Does FP have an active fleet?
Sort of. It's called Fleetpunch Newman. Just post in the STO thread in the MMO section.

Yea, the C-store. You can either be dumb and buy the cryptic points or you can be smart and just convert in-game currency to cryptic points. There even is an exchange like an auction house that exchanges the currencies. Also all the stuff in the store is 50% cosmetic and 30% ship variants and another 20% unique ships, none of which are "pay to win"
