• Newly built PC can't access anything via UNC path

I feel like an idiot because I can't figure this out. I can't access anything on my network via UNC path. (ex. \\ipaddress). Just says it can't access the network resource. What am I missing?
It didn't default to a public network, did it? That happened to me one build and took me way too long to figure out.
I am pretty sure it didn't. Where do I verify that in Windows 10?
Under network and sharing perhaps? I'm nowhere near a Windows system and haven't done any networking on one in months.
