Is using an emulator on an Android device really newsworthy?
Android has emulators? Big whoop.
The only "runs" on wear thing that was really that newsworthy was minecraft.

this is dumb
may very well sell some people to buying a watch that runs Android Wear
it's possible to get an android tablet for like the same price if somebody's looking for games
android wear basically is a hands-free version of google now and an extension of the notifications system
anybody getting it with expectations for much more is going to be disappointed
Just as surprising as a "[Device] can run DooM! Wow!"
So you cant actually wear it at the same time as playing it? Whats the point? Why not get a controller with buttons that cant hold the smartphone and plug it into the USB port?
You got a bigger screen, and it is probably cheaper too if you get a Moto G for about 170 dollars? You can probably even run an SNES emulator on it

You have to admit, the printer running Doom was kind of cool.
Android Wear essentially is android with a pretty UI, you can install any APK and it'll work like it's an android phone so really anything you throw at it will "work"

That wasn't even that cool, it's just dosbox badly emulating windows95, takes forever to make stuff happen and doesn't actually run any applications.

Pretty much this, I played around with 3.1 for shits and giggles on my old tablet
It is kinda cool but not very impressive overall.
