COOL CAPS LOCK /caps also don't get that case. it has a built-in PSU, which usually suck. i suggest this case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119077 and maybe this PSU?: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341031 also, budget?
Why is the entire thing in capitals.
this is the correct way to make a thread in all honesty grab an i5 and some ram get a combo deal on them [editline]01:21AM[/editline] grab http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.250479 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121388&cm_re=p55-_-13-121-388-_-Product
I'm with John on this one; i5 is the way to go. I would say a new cooler would be a good idea, since the i5s are awesome overclockers.
this is the correct way to make a thread
except for the massive abuse of Caps Lock
in all honesty grab an i5 and some ram get a combo deal on them [editline]01:21AM[/editline] grab http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.250483 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121388&cm_re=p55-_-13-121-388-_-Product
Aaaaand agree with this.
What the- an i5? What the hell John I thought you were infallible.
The i5 is currently the best price/performance out there. If you want something a little cheaper, go for a 720 BE or 250.
Or am I just confused? [editline]01:09PM[/editline] Double ninja'd.
Oh look, prismatex is back
i think amd processors are just as good and the one i got is 3.0 ghz and quad core. thats bettere then the quad core 2.66 ghz intel i5 [editline]09:38AM[/editline] isn't it?
No, don't go by GHz alone. The i5 will curb-stomp the PII 945, kidnap and rape its wife, and enslave its kids.
Going by GHz alone with a processor is like going by horsepower alone with a vehicle.
V17? Now you're pulling our legs.
Going by GHz alone with a processor is like going by horsepower alone with a vehicle.
Fuck horsepower. Torque is where it's at :c00l:
this is the correct way to make a thread in all honesty grab an i5 and some ram get a combo deal on them [editline]01:21AM[/editline] grab http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.250483 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121388&cm_re=p55-_-13-121-388-_-Product
That's quite a lot of money for the processor alone, and there's nothing wrong with AMD's processors of what I know of.
HEY! I saw you join.
HEY! I saw you join.
That's very informative, have a useless rating.
Fuck horsepower. Torque is where it's at :c00l:
Exactly.
here is a good case and power supply combo i found http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.261560
here is a good case and power supply combo i found http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.261560
You've got to be kidding me.
It's alright, but I wouldn't trust that PSU with high power rigs. [editline]06:37PM[/editline] Like 4890x2 and i7 950 with a 10,000 RPM HDD kind of high power [editline]06:38PM[/editline] also the case is pretty ugly [editline]06:42PM[/editline] also oxymoron in previous edit
i have like no money though i got like just enouph i dont want to spend like 100-200 on a case
Then get a CM Centurion 5 or Antec Three Hundred. For PSU, get a Corsair 400CX.
300 illusion
Then get a CM Centurion 5 or Antec Three Hundred. For PSU, get a Corsair 400CX.
i agree. get a centurion, they're nice, and only like 50-60 dollars i think

It is worth the extra 30bux [editline]11:09PM[/editline]
That's quite a lot of money for the processor alone, and there's nothing wrong with AMD's processors of what I know of.
Yeah well for 10bux more it is worth it [editline]11:09PM[/editline] OH shit I linked to the 870 my bad [editline]11:10PM[/editline] http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.250479
